I don't do enough of that type of work to warrant buying a finish nailer. I predrilled because there have been times before working with wood, that the nail would split the work if I just banged it in. Thought about gluing it on, didn't want to do that.
This kit has been well worth the money.

I bought it since I was going to redo a large portion of the house when we bought it, and the finish nailer, and stapler, have been great tools.

The framing nailer was awesome when we rebuilt a large portion of a hack-job addition at my brothers house.

& now I'm thinking about my 1897 Denver Victorian & all the plaster & moulding work required to convert it back to a single family unit. It had at one time been partitioned into 7 apartments.

I enjoyed restoring all the old gas lighting fixtures. The banister was a b*tch & a super score when I salvaged matching fireplace tile & transom hardware from a roll off & remodel 5 blocks south. I miss the old architectural salvage that was off of Colorado Blvd.

Even after they moved, but before they closed for good, it just wasn't the same.

Not a bad price to include a framing nailer
