I cant say that I had any fun today.

I am hopeful and a little bit excited about the nerf bars getting done though.

I was hoping to mount outside the spring packs but I really don't think there will be enough room to do so. I did find direct OE style spring packs with ratings available, but I need to talk with someone really smart on leaf spring rates to get the ride I want from the eventual shock set up. If a 5 (4/1) pack rated at 1950 lbs has one leaf removed, how much gvw did that change vs. ride quality manageability type stuff.

I thought instead of removing leafs you bought leaf packs with different weight capacity ratings... been so long since I even seen a leaf spring

Yes. You can buy specific rate packs.

The new axle tubes are larger diameter than the stock tubes. Ironically about 1 or 2 leafs worth. I'm trying to learn some of this stuff, but I'll need help getting it right for sure.

I remember Brutal using the term Rabbit Hole on this stuff...and he's right, but at the time I said I wanted to do this once and have it be right. That's still the goal. There are very bright minds that already know how to achieve what it is I'm looking for, and I'm at the beginning of that road now.

I would love to four link and coil all of it, but that would probably be to the tune of $15 K.

I don't need that thought rolling around in my head.

Come to think of it, the only money I spent on suspension was for the custom front packs rated for a 7.3 . I think it was like $600 iirc.

If I flip my shit out and do four link this thing, it will be Wyomes fault...…..FOREVER.
