Pickets are reclaimed 2" siding I had resawn years ago for a basement bar finish(barnwood look) and saved leftovers. Mrs bo saw it recently and wanted wind break to look rustic, saved a few bucks too.

I recently reused the neighbors' old fence for more fence for my chickens. Nothing like reusing 20 year-old trash wood, painting it, and not being able to tell the difference afterward.

Still gotta cut last row of pavers to fit. Down a grinder so stone grinder has to double in welding shop and welding shop has been busy lately so no stone cutting.

The four rail post and dowel fence is little over 5' at top rail with chain link to top rail. Chain link in pic is old wire and will be replaced.

So far the GSD pup has obeyed training not to cross/jump fence which has been 4' tall but can leave the yard any time she wants. Training and a foot taller fence should avoid prison yard.

Gotta cut the last few pavers to fit and get on to the rest of the fence. Mrs bo is starting to get the hang of the post hole digger on the tractor. The post holes for the picket fence had to be done by hand due to the landscaping on outside of fence and the post holes for post/rail fence right of gate are PIA even with one side just being lawn. Be glad to get in open away from existing landscaping.

    Looks good!
