We did an emission on 2008 vehicle, and it looks like they plugged something on OBD2 plug. Then they said it passed without doing any tests.

    ETA: It was regular vehicle.

The whole vehicle emissions testing garbage in Colorado is just a scam. If Colorado gave two shits about the environment they would look into ways to relieve traffic congestion and maybe develop a better public transportation system.

Perhaps that "age of vehicle" BS is why my wife's tags on a 14 year old vehicle went up by $10 from last year.

I bet that's exactly it. My favorite is the FEES CONTINUE ON BACK.
Just reading that makes my eye twitch. What the hell is the $0.50 insurance fee? I figured it was the fee to check for insurance, but nope, there is already a $0.10 MOTORIST DATABASE INSURANCE FEE.

They should close downtown denver to all vehicle traffic from 8-5. This way everyone would have to rely on mass transit or pedal their ass to work. That would show how serious all the greenies who love the metro area's ambiance are, about climate change .
Then put the freeloaders camping in the city to work, running rickshaws. They're given a job and exercise, win win

Looks like on early voting returns that Denver's Initiated Ordinance 300 is going down 60% against, 30% for.
Drove through the Cherry Creek and University Hills area over last week-end. Almost every other house had a No on 300 sign.
    Gee, I wonder why?
