I policed all the neighbor's broken branches as well as @ my other properties & there is less outright breakage than I would have thought. I'm a bit of a pruning nazi by comparison to most folks who seemingly don't bother @ all so I'm pleased to say not one of my Chanticleers lost a branch, much less a twig. Unfortunately & suprisingly however the snow snapped a good but small branch on my mature autumn ash. . .

Lost a couple small bits off the Norway but the squirrel's relentlessness to tear at the cambium predisposed the attrition.

Lots of incidental lilac damage, mostly on the upper branches already heavy with bloom. Will make for a few lovely & very large bouquets so there's that for an upside.

Our lilac damage is pretty severe unfortunately. Lost a handful of branches off our other trees but all the neighbors didn?t fare as well.

Now I need to find someone with some good tree tools here in COS...

Yep. I'll be carting around a couple of chainsaws for the next few days.

Well I should have borrowed yours then. Just ran 2 tanks of gas taking care of my yard and a neighbors. Had a few large branches come down.
