I hope you guys aren't thinking I'm trying to bring down Pee-wee. Not at all.

Looks like I'm heading out to Lamar soon. Never been there before. Maybe I'll see a tornado.

So in CO i had more than 1 forum member unable to navigate they way out of the yard. Always finding the corner or side of the shop to run in to. Some couldn't get past the 12' gate with out scraping their truck along the fence.
Flash forward to a week ago. 20' straight job truck pulls in to install gutters. Gate is 12' wide with plenty of space to pull a full size truck with a 20' trailer in.
Truck needs to go forward to park between the house & guest house in the background.
So what does the driver do. Pulls up to the intersecting drives and..............................backs up
right in to the 4' oil firld pipe and gate. 30' at the widest area inside the gate narrowing down to 14' up between the buildings. I asked why did he think he needed to back u when the worh was on the other buildings/ I dun know, it's my first time driving this truck

Did you ever back a trailer into your old place? I'm getting better at backing with my trailer, but it still seems like that would be a tight turn. The wide alley helps for sure.

No we had enough room to swing a 17' pull behind through, with close to 1-2" alongside the gate / garage. The 8' gate out front was just wide enough to squeeze the trailer[s] out.
To this day i'm still perplexed how a guy with a smart car with plenty of room to get out of there, hit the corner .
This question coming from a guy who at 1 time, ok more than 1x backed in to power or light poles in an empty parking lot, or two.

The same week I did that, I watched another guy do the exact same thing. I figured out why we both did that, but it's difficult to explain over text.
