    How do you know you're going to be busy in a medical setting? I suppose there are appointments on the schedule already.

    Since I’m in the ER, there’s no appointments. Flu season is always a significant increase, and the first workday after a 3-day holiday always sucks. Certain days like Easter or Christmas get an influx of elderly, usually from sea-level and don’t do well visiting Denver. Believe it or not, full moons are typically more erratic. Otherwise, random hit and miss.

    Full Moons.

    I've done some third ride stuff and they always said full moons were good times to ride alongs. They're right about that.

    For me that also translated into observing driving behavior during full moon periods. Seems to fit there as well.
