DirectTV is giving free access to EPIX for a while.
Got sucked into watching a series, Pennyworth, last night. Watched the Pilot and the next episode.
I saw that 2 more were coming up and just had the DVR record those 2.
What I am guessing, is it is about Alfred Pennyworth. who later becomes Bruce Wayne's, Batman, butler.
It has the same gothic heaviness as Batman, but located in London. Thomas Wayne and Martha Kane are featured and they become the parents of Bruce Wayne.
There appears to be 10 episodes, and I am afraid DirectTV will make me pay for EPIX to see all of them.

Just finished paying for our dog's expensive surgery from earlier this year.

    What happened to your puppers?

I feel your pain. My cat had to have emergency plastic surgery last year. She had developed entropion as a 13yo cat, which is unusual. It's when the eyelids curl inwards, and the hair on the eyelids scratches the eyes. She got an eye infection as a result of the vet giving her steroids in an attempt to fix it (apparently, you're never supposed to give cats steroids). We seriously had to take her to an animal plastic surgeon 2-hrs away. Spent almost as many thousands of dollars as well.

She partially tore her ACL, so they cut her knee off, rotate it, then bolt it back together.

My wife's cat died this year too. I want to say he was 17. At first she wanted to do everything she could, but I talked her out of getting any surgeries since he was so old. We all miss him.

My 18-19 year old dog passed this year, at a certain point I didn’t feel it was right to try to put him through treatments of any kind, the money was better spent on better food for him to enjoy at that stage in his life.

Thanks for the tip, never tried that option. Seems I've had trouble using BBCode here in the past...

It seems maybe OBC was having trouble getting to the image options. Hard to tell without seeing what he's doing. Also didn't ask if phone or 'puter.

There's an option on imgur to gen links for multiple pics you can select that's handy too.

My sisters dog just had ACL surgery. Hope your dog has recovered by now and that it was worth the cost! Pups are family, and they give us so much its worth it when we can help them like that.

And OBC, The BBCode link is easier. Otherwise you have to right click the inage, oprnbin new tab, then copy the link for that page, come back here and use the insert image button.

She doesn't show any limping, but when I took her in for a follow-up a few months ago, she still had a lot of soft tissue swelling. The same thing happened to our cat, and the vet was quoting us all these $2,000+ surgeries. We got a second opinion from another vet and they said, "Don't do anything. She's a cat and will heal herself just fine." They were right.
