    If anyone would like a few they make excellent classroom pets. I used to supply a second grade teacher with them but she moved last year so unfortunately I now have a surplus.

    This variety & generally speaking, yes. They are janitors, though indiscriminate to what might be your prized foliage & as with near everything too many is bad especially if you're going for aesthetics.
