Today's secret word is either: Phoenix or Band-aid

    Maybe both.

Band-aids have value. I can't say the same for Taylor Swift.

Oh, thought I had the feel of my new trigger sorted. Shot two matches yesterday & well, apparently not while on the clock.

Was feeling unwell yesterday too but that's not a legitimate excuse as I did manage cut over 40 seconds off my best time ever on one stage. That has me @ par with the ... well, I'll just say it doesn't wholly suck. I'll take it as my win for the day.

Ive done nothing but drink from a firehose in the last year & I'm still insatiable when it comes to my thirst for improvement @ each match. In addition to my usual training I had hoped this upgrade would be a marked leap, instead I just kept my usual pace & even stumbled a bit.

Lots of fundamental range work on my bill for the next two weeks if I don't want the same mediocrity at the Big Ben Tactical. Need to rule out my failures before I prescribe a remedy & make mods to the trigger.

I like it, but I also have physical limitations. Standing works too. Seated, Kneeling, and Prone are extremely difficult for me.

To be clear, it is a worthwhile skill to maintain for purposeful work.

Still don't have to like it.

CN...it's possible you might take some value of my opinion, don't know........however, with your impressive strides in improvement and tenacity for getting better, you're not going to be a world class markswoman in a year I don't think. There are so many variable aspects at each shoot, take pride in your advancement. You're going to have peaks and plateaus....might be some more time before your next peak, be comfortable with that. It will come.

Fallon is extremely talented, but I hate his guts due to his views. Timberlake has done some really funny stuff on SNL over the years though. Especially the "dick in a box" with Samburg and the "Single Lady" bit with whoever the hell that singer is.
