    It seems that in my late 30?s I?m now attempting to learn the French language. It?s got too many rules in my novice opinion

    Better than trying to figure out all the exceptions to the rules like English.

    The older you are the harder it will be to pickup another language.

    Although some say it?s easier to learn to play music at an older age. Not sure if it?s true, but maybe, all the years that the brain has heard rhythm, harmony, different keys, etc., makes it easier to put it together. Meh, probably bullshit. I?m still a perpetual intermediate picking the guitar. Or maybe I?m the exception that makes the rule.
