I've never liked lamb. It leaves an after-taste on the back of my tongue that I just don't like.
I've made it for other people and they thought it was outstanding, but it's just not my thing.
Made some Italian sausage soup in advance of a holiday get-together next week. Smells great on the stove.

When I wrangled a small herd on my parent's place, I've met a lot whose personality was greatly improved after being grilled medium-well. Thereafter, Out at Wes Thompson's range north of Piru Calif in the '80's (home of SWPL back then), there were some always lounging behind the targets I had to shoo for practice. My fellow club members would laugh that I always did it with a loaded pistol but so heeled, they gave me a wide berth.

That shop is OK but my favorite gyros is served on Grant and Colfax in a small shop run by a Syrian family.
