I was thinking close to mazin & myself. Crown burgers on south Colorado is good too for gyros, but when I go there I have a weakness for their pastrami burgers.

There use to be a place across from swedish hopsital, on giraud? in the 80's that had outstanding gyros and other greek food.

The gyro meat is usually a mix of beef and lamb, so I just call it blamb. The last 'b' is silent.

It's funny you mention it, because that's what I was thinking about reading these posts on Greek food. I think you may be thinking of South Central II right across the street from Swedish on Hampden. They had awesome Greek food. I was a sucker for their chicken kabob sandwich and fries. Their fries were always dynamite.

It was kind of a hole in the wall joint, but their food was always really good. I think they closed about 10 years ago or so.
