    Interesting new year already.
Can any Wyoming experianced members opine on how long road closures usually last? Oldest wanted to go visit a friend and is stuck in Rawlins now with roads closed everywhere. How long does that usually last? Do I need to get him another hotel room for tonight?
Reserve it just in case. If there's even a wyoming breeze and snow on the ground, roads will stay closed.

Get the room. Its Rawlins. If there's a storm rolling through it could be a while.

WYDOT sucks at keeping I-80 clear. Some sections will be cleared, others aren't. Tractor trailers wrecking all over the place. Then you get to Utah and it's clear the whole way. Those Mormons know how to maintain a highway.

Thanks team. We booked for another night just in case. Roads closed for another 6 hours. Technically speaking I could find a way to hwy 230 then 130 and then use the side roads to get there. But the smarter part of me says side roads will be impassable and just a bad idea.

Well 6 hours to wait. Going to do the wifes brake fluid change now.

Here is what csme out of the kids audi, 9 years and 140k miles.

The waxy stuff is the water reacting with dot4 fluid. Based on my last few brake fluid changes I think doing this as a regular service is warranted.
