Fortunately, I have a couple of loaners right now. Thinking it'd be better to wait until after my class with Brian. He'll sort me on everything & then I can make a more informed choice.

Me? I'm OK. Still trying to find work. Refrigerator is going out (when it rains it pours, right?). Was discussing the past year with the better half yesterday and we're both in agreement that I needed to change my employment situation. I'm stressing in that I'm not providing for our household, but I'm better as a person after getting out of the rat race for a while. We both agree that I'm much more relaxed and happier. It seems that I'm more approachable, which I notice when I'm out at big box stores. People will just start up a conversation or ask a question, or I can start one with them, and it's a good experience. That's somewhat new to me. I'm an introvert and I know it, but at least I don't put off a vibe that I'm abrasive.

Or maybe they just think that I work in those places? I'll have to stop wearing orange to Home Depot.

    How you doin'?

I missed this the other day -- easy fix. Soak the cutouts in a vinegar bath & it'll be clean enough to weld & paint after. Just make sure you do it outside

Or... I've muriatic acid that'll make quick work of it but will likely rust the metal too.

while it may be clean enough. One should not weld galvanized metals w/out very good ventilation and even better breather system. Not so much the zinc oxide, but lead oxide fumes.
