We're stepping up our effort to move out of state. Just got notification from wife's sister and BiL that they are moving to Virginia to get closer to his family. We're looking to land in WA, closer to my folks. My sister and her Army Dr. hubby are getting relocated from San Antonio (BAMC) to Joint Base Lewis-McChord this summer as well.

I moved here several years after my folks did. The elevation got to be a bit much for them, and they like the ocean and there's no income tax in WA, so they moved there.

Lol i get it man. I'm a native and its just not home anymore and hasn't been for a long time. This state is just too damn expensive and if you can get the state out of your pocket then by all means do so. My plan is I'm gonna finish my BS and look for a state job elsewhere. Kick myself in the ass for not finishing earlier but live and learn i guess.
