Can someone please tell me the name of those damn birds "not Morning Doves", that seem compelled to start chirping every morning around 4AM...Good god, WTF are they? Alarm clocks for roosters?

Are these the doves that are larger than mourning doves, have a brown ring around their neck, and sometimes let off a horrific growly "sqaa-aaa!" as they fly away?
Those are Eurasian Collared Doves and they're pretty noisy.

Not as noisy as the Robins that had a throw-down territorial squabble for the past week in the trees by my bedroom....or the Flicker that has claimed the whole damned block and drums on every chimney to make his point.
