Oh man, sometimes I miss those days. As I remember, I always ate like a king, but that probably wasn't really the case.

I'm chickened out man. I had so much damn chicken last week. It was all good, but I need a break. Unless.. I had some good chicken wings. I could go for those maybe.

my alternatives were a can of tuna or going out and i'll be going out alot next week while i'm on vacation

Yeah, my family used to vacation on Lake Erie all the time.

oh fun. Lake Michigan is the nicest of the five I think. Sandiest beaches, warm water, decent sized waves.

We had a couple of jet skis and a 21ft Sea Ray to play around with the whole time we were there. I got nice and sun burned...

That wait is too damn long. I need to get into a club here somewhere but the waits are all crazy.. There was supposed to be a new club up around Dacono, but that got nixed by those pricks that live up around there.

the last of my pictures - i didn't see another human until got back to the main trail - i started at 630 or so and got back to my 4runner about noonish - i stop alot and look around - there were many, many butterflies and spiders and other things to look at - visited a couple old mining sites - tailings only though

i tried to take some pictures of the cutthroat trout - there were a bunch of them and they were jumping out of the water for bugs but they don't stop moving and i didn't have good light

i hiked along the ridge to the northeast when i got back up to the pass from the lake - elevation is around 12,100 ft

this shot is looking to the southwest - i was at the top of that last week, 13,215 ft - looks like i could hike it from this pass but it gets kinda steep and rocky the higher you go

Never been to Lake M, but we always had fun at Erie. Some swimming, but lots of fishing.

Summer's no fun without at least one sunburn!
