Speaking of desert, I pulled 150 gallons worth of weeds today in our front yard. The common thought around here is to let the weeds grow through the monsoon season, then pull in September. Today was super wet, so I spent about 1.5hrs pulling them.
Next year I'm spraying with chemicals, that was not fun at all.
10mm, how long does it take you to make a gun like that? I have no idea where you'd even start with something like that.

Swather and brush hog. Not likely I am gonna pull weeds. Little weed whacker action and hoeing/chopping in the garden, but no pulling weeds.

Hey buffalobo, is there any public land out there to shoot on?
Its mostly "grass" that grows in clumps. They'll be about 10-15" long and sprout out of the ground from a 0.25" diameter circle, spreads out huge. Then there are jumping vines, that grow and spread outwards along the ground then dig back into the ground, form more roots and grow outwards from there. Those are a total PITA to pull cause you can never get the root unless you follow each vine and spend 10min looking for the root.
Just cut about 37 acres of grass, will see how many bales over the weekend.
Didn't cut it last year, not enough rain to get it going. Year before got 66 5' round bales.
