Sadly though, I don't have a holster I can carry it with, everyone is backlogged by 8-10 weeks, which is shocking, considering how many holsters I'd imagine a company can make in a day. I'm 2 weeks into my 8-10wk wait with a Bravo Concealment holster, hoping its closer to 4-6wks...
I need one for my 1911

Pssh, those are dime a dozen on various forums, used but new. Finding the smaller M&P ones is proving more difficult. Not to mention, when you plug "M&P" into most search engines, it searches for "M" and "P". The ampersand is part of the programming language. Its stupid. Hear that S&W?!

The trick is deciding which one. Raven, G Code, Incog, go local? More like Im gonna go crazy.

Haha, I know THAT feeling all too well. Thought I loved crossbreed, but decided I might try something new. Was intrigued by incog, but they're an even longer wait and a thicker kydex, adding to the already kind of thick (1.2") M&P40c. Then found the Bravo Concealment DOS, made with thinner kydex, granted in the grand scheme of things, its only 0.040" total thinner... Agreed, I'll go crazy soon too!

Oh, and tried a friend's comptac two-o-clock and with its single belt clip, lets the gun twist too much, perhaps with a lighter gun (Shield perhaps), it'd be perfect.

But for what its worth, i bought a local holster once (well, not local but from a guy on glocktalk) and at the time, i thought it was the bomb (and a steal at like $45 shipped). Until i bought a nice holster (crossbreed) and the difference in leather quality alone made the crossbreed worth the extra cost. Not to mention my dog ate that cheaper holster, so ya know, there's that...

Here's my next million dollar idea: beer-flavored lollipops.

    Discuss.

Because I could REALLY go for a beer right now, but I can't have one.

Imagine having a "beer" during a work meeting.

One potential downside: your boss smells your breath, you could get fired. Even worse, getting pulled over for speeding, or a broken tail light suddenly BAM, DUI!
