The Georgetown side from 13,2xx feet. There is evidence of a cable railway operation where the miners in the Peru Creek basin would ship their ore over Argentine Pass to the smelters near Georgetown, some of the cable and the supporting superstructure still there, unfortunately the UFS or somebody cut most of it down. The Peru Creek side is very steep, imagine being the crew that built the supports and strung up the cable.
