Yep there are several brands that use them. I've seen winchesters and I know there are others.
Yup, gotta sort it out, kind of a PITA, but I've only run across 4 or 5 in my couple hundred cases of 45.

These are Federal cases, neighbor said he's been loading 45 for 20 years and never seen it before. I was curious if you guys had seen it...thanks.
I did something kinda neato at work today. I have a few tool cases accumulated, and decided to convert one of them to carry a handgun and some mags. Took some seat cushion material and fitted it to the cases, and then used some high speed aluminum deburring bits and "etched" out the shape of the desired content, and bingo !! Nice carry case for a handgun and accessories.
