    Ok guys how jacked is my thinking on this one. I got this barrel that the guy had an after market sight installed on the muzzle of a threaded bull barrel (10/22). First of its canted and it's jacking with my OCD. Second I want to take it off and chop it to use it as a thread cover. Problem is the damn thing won't budge. The previous owner thinks it was lock tighted but even with a strap wrench (rubber) I can't move the effer. Tried wd40 but nothing else so far. I'm thinking about drilling a hole through the muzzle adapter and trying a rod and cheater bar but I wanted some input first.

    heat gun moved around the unit till off it comes. BUT first, use some fine sand emery paper on the finish. This way before you go to town (again) you verify, it's blind pinned.

    Forgot. SHIT CAN THAT WD40. It's useless for rust / stuck shit like better [PB BLASTER, CRC] penetrants are. Also IF it's LT'd wd40 isn't going to disolve it.
