Nice, you'll love the Aimpoint Pro! I definitely love mine! I picked mine up way back when it was only sold to LEOs, from a LEO who got it at like 30% off retail, and sold it to me for like $325 + shipping. It was such a sweet deal, I couldn't pass it up. Still have it and it is very durable!

Not sure how I feel about the QRP mount or whatever it is, always seems like the ratchet mechanism is broken. I'll click it 3 times, then shortly after shooting it a bunch, will check it and the reference line is off, so I click it again and it moves rather easily.

I have a 27 mile commute. Yesterday I had to be in to work by 6am, which was nice because most of the yahoos weren't on the roads yet. Added bonus is that I was driving on fresh snow that hadn't been packed and frozen by hundreds of other cars driving on it, so traction was considerably better (in this case)

Makes me sick. The guy was my boss at the time of the incident, too. What a prick, sissy, coward piece of garbage.

The kid is 4 years old.
Ugh this makes me wish we could somehow set up punishments equal to the crime. Beat this piece of shit with that same belt buckle a couple times a day during his entire manual labor or prison sentence. Doing something so awful to a child makes me swell up with anger.

A few years back, it snowed heavily in Dallas where my aunt/uncle live (my entire extended family lives in texas actually). It was so much snow in fact, that it shut the entire city down. Stores closed. No one went in to work. School was cancelled. Sheer madness!

My uncle got dressed up in his ski gear, put on his ski boots, and was holding his skis in front of his house. He emailed that picture around to friends/family asking which way to the ski lift. The funny part was that it was barely even half an inch of snow.

eta: Found the picture, but not going to post it. He was wearing regular clothes and was just holding his skis/poles with his boots over his shoulder. The email subject was "Anyone know the way to the ski lift???" and inside the email was the picture and "Massive snow storm".

I've been home with my 10 month old for 2 days now with this coming out both ends... I've done about 10 loads of laundry to clean all the pike/diarrhea covered clothes, blankets, etc. I finally got him to eat a little bit and keep some down about 30 minutes ago... If he wasn't better by lunch time he was going to the ER for dehydration.
