    Can't wait until summer we'll do our first family camping weekend. Kiddos will be old enough. Gotta brush up on my out of doors skills.

    Yep, it was a perfect day for it.

    This is the part of Colorado that I never want to leave. Beautiful, peaceful, lots of personal space, no political asshats trying to tell me what I can and cannot do.

    Guy I know lives in/near the black forest, one of the few houses that didn't get burned down. Did some work there hardscaping. I could live out there. Where we moved from in Hawaii was awesome. Small cluster of 5 houses but each was on an acre and not close. But all around us was just land. Gulch on each side. I'd explore for hours. Only downside were the mosquitos.

    Yeah, Black Forest would be great if land didn't cost $25k+ per acre... and that's for the crappy land on sand with no desirable features. The good stuff is $2-300k for 5 acres.
