    Yep, we do this too.

    also, you can make hummus out of lots of things as long as chickpeas are the main ingredient. Try adding kale, spinach, or basil and it becomes even healthier and tastier!

    I have no blender, coffeemaker, food processor, microwave, nothing....plus I like mine with some tahini.

    Yup, it takes a little experimentation in the beginning, but if you stick with it, you'll soon find a recipe that tastes better than the store bought. And for what, a $0.50 can of chick peas as opposed to $4 for a tub of hummus with crap in it.
