Having never attended a class like this, I didn't know how much in depth we would go with stuff, and it's a lot. I've learned that I have a shit load to be learning, and practicing. I like the class, looking forward to tomorrow.

I can't remember all the students names(10 or so), but I think they're all cool guys doing their best with new material / procedures.

The only things I'd bitch about would be the horrid wind we all experienced, and trying to get "instantly comfortable" with a brand new retention holster while wearing gloves, well, and shooting with gloves on too. I don't know how it was for everyone else on the mental stress/exercise level, but I find it draining after a whole day in that weather. I'm spent.

Tomorrow is another day, better weather, and different challenges. I'm taking a first step into a new world, and I'm digging it.

Nope no barrel today.... Ups doesn't deliver here on Saturday or Sunday. It'll be at least a week before I get it screwed on.

i had the distinct pleasure of schooling some folks at the range today. They were a couple of wanna-bes that had cool gear. Legitimately, it was cool stuff. Too bad they haven't figured out that what matters is the Indian, not the arrow.

I have the feeling that while shooting at a public range, this would happen to you frequently..

Question, Belly.... if having spent today with the G17, would you recommend not switching to the G22 tomorrow? Had to take a back up anyways, and I kinda wanted to work with the new sights on that one too. Or should I stay shooting the same weapon for the whole class?
