    Yea, well it scared me when it happened and I want to know why. The 42.8gr charge blew out the primer, locked up the bolt. Okay, over pressure because too much powder.

    But then why did the 38.0gr charge blow out the primer too?! That couldn't have been from too much powder!

    Your primers are probably all bad. You should send them to me for safe disposal.

    At this point, I'm seriously considering trashing them and the rest of that brass (as in, all 500 pieces of it). If I get the same thing happen with Lapua brass, then something is seriously wrong and I'll probably start crying and rolling around on the floor.

    I semi understand that thread. My guess is bad lot of materials. You don't strike me as the type to "wing it".

    That sucks! Unfortunately fevers are a good thing. Hope that little guy burns that virus out.
