My kitchen counters are a dark colored granite. Hard to keep them looking clean. The rest of the house is various tan based pattern formicas. I'm kicking myself for not upgrading to under mount sinks and corean in the bathrooms.

Corian(or any acrylic) with integral sinks is the ticket. Warm, soft feel. Two hours per year maintenance looks new forever.

Mrs. Otter had two horses when we met...a quarter and an arabian. That's why we ended up here in Lochbuie in the first place, for the horse property.

The arabian got sick and died, and she sold the quarter shortly afterwards.

Yeah, Mrs. HB used to be really big into horses, so she is all excited. I pretend to be excited so I don't hurt her feelings.

Bummer. I rode an Arabian (horse ) down in Texas a few years ago. Turns out it was a retired and distinguished long distance racehorse. Once we got up to a gallup, i was hanging on for dear life and it took me 1/4 mile to stop him.
