Yeah but a2te you going to take them? You're always talking about how hard you work. Even if you can't stay still on vacation, you could take on a detailed project or a money making project or something so it won't feel like vacation.

Im not going to be able to take them before 1 Oct. I'll take most of November off, though. That will leave me with 35 days of vacation before I get on a plane again. Then it'll reset to the 60 days after that trip. Then the next year I'll be right back where I started. It's a vicious cycle.

unfortunately, I'm in a job that doesn't allow too many vacations.

Im in a job that requires 80-100 hour work weeks. I just got two emails in the last fifteen minutes...both of which required me to get work done now.

Same here, EXCEPT since I bought five extra days, I guess I can't bring over any. I don't mind. Kind of cool to have random time off, I think.

It really does save a few steps if you just fall asleep in your computer chair. Yeah, ya wake up with a killer neck pain, but what the hell....

Me and the kid walked the 16th street mall last night, got hammered and didn't get into any trouble...worked out nice. Went to Tilted Kilt for some food, which really sucked....turned out the manger there was totally cool and ended up giving us the $40 "meal" and an extra beverage to boot. There are a couple of really talented street performers down there...and some that suck too.

Gave an old dude playing guitar, really well btw, $5. Maybe just doing a little paying forward I guess.....guy looked like he might be getting close to 80 or so.

The Tilted Kilt here in my local area has some pretty crabby servers. They think that being slightly mean to folks will get them good tips. It probably works since their demographic here is the 19-yr-old Joe that's fresh out of Basic. Those kids eat it up.

Fair Broker: I've only been there once and I somehow ended up with the semi-nice server. She wasn't much to look at, compared to her *cough* 'peers', but she was nice, personable, and my food was how I ordered it.

Good morning! The Travis Manion 5k that I helped set up and host went really well this morning! It was the first one ever in Colorado Springs and we had about 100 really great folks show up. Not bad for starting the planning in August...
