It's a beautiful place SD, if one opens their eyes, beyond the usual tourist attractions.

Winters are not much worse than Colorado, in that area. Farther north? Brutal, at times, but doable. The scenery and climatic temperament for the bulk of the year outweigh the harshest winter conditions (just my opinion).
Not trying to contradict GK, just throwing opinion out there. I know he has some sentiment for the area, also. He and his spouse do some very good things for folks up there.

It's that artic low ripping through there really gets your attention. I like the Hot Springs area if we became residents.

Howdy fellers, it's been a busy weekend for the otter.
When I was in Chicago, I couldn't find Mad Max on Netflix. Tonight it is there.
