So with all the cars and motorcycles, I can see why Jim would have been a fan of this movie when it came out.

However, it's WAAAAY more homoerotic than I anticipated.

Yeah I can respect that. Tough deal all around.

    Goodnight and stuff.

I got a new set of springs for a Geissele trigger, and it was missing the disconnector spring. I used the form letter on the website to say that it was missing. That was 945PM on Saturday. A half hour later, I get an email from Bill (Geissele) saying that they'd make it right. Goodness, that was pretty prompt!

I also changed the gas block on an AR, which means that I now have an extra. Well, not for long, as I've already started building the next AR around it. It's going to be a DPMS-pattern .308. I've never built one, and I'm guessing that i can easily build it for under $2k when I mix the parts that I already have on hand and the parts that I need to order. I know I can get a factory built gun and have it work 100% right from the get go. For me, it's all about getting in there and getting my hands dirty with building one. I'd like to take my time and get it as close to right as possible. I expect the build to be completed before the end of November. I'll start a thread in the AR-10 category so that others can monitor the progress and see what they like/dislike about it, ask questions, etc.

Well, the Lemon Drop cupcakes didn't do the trick. We are now 2 days overdue.

On the flip side, the baby may come tomorrow, the day of a supermoon. If she does, then she takes after daddy in the astronomy interests

Not at all, Brother. I'm just speaking my heart about it all....there's no other way around it than to say it's tough. Congrats on your new .308 project.

Today was a weird day at work. But it's over, so that's good.

I got a couple of leads on electricians and a bobcat guy in the DIY thread, so that was cool some brothers helped out with that. Now I just gotta make a few phone calls and send an email or two. Thanks to those that helped with that.
