"When law and morality contradict each other, the citizen has the cruel alternative of either losing his moral sense or losing his respect for the law." -Frederic Bastiat
"I am a conservative. Quite possibly I am on the losing side; often I think so. Yet, out of a curious perversity I had rather lose with Socrates, let us say, than win with Lenin."

"when you're happy you enjoy the melody but, when you're broken you understand the lyrics".
Well, the kid bought a retired barf truck from the city. In the process of taking it apart for aluminum scrap value, the three pieces of sheeting that separated the compartments in the drunk tank on wheels were saved. Being the resourceful souls that we are, we decided to shoot at them and see what happened. Then, I reported on it.

Actually, many quickie marts/gas stations have used inch thick acrylic glass for a long time. Plasti-Craft that used to be down on Bayaud and Alameda had a sample of plastic that supposedly was riddled with 357 mag rounds at point blank range, and none had gotten through. We were just curious about how the 3/8th would do. It actually might be a little thicker than that, never put a micrometer on it.
Ahh, now I know what you're talking about worth the acrylic.
"There are no finger prints under water."
I'm guessing it was something like plexiglas or lexan?
