I just want to let you guys know that the transmission job is about 80-85% completed. The transmission and engine are firmly secured together at this point. Now I just need to jimmy the transmission just right to attach the driver rear mount, then hook up everything else and re-fill a couple fluids.

I should have been shooting a pistol match, but it got canceled. So we made pancakes from scratch instead. Now I'm getting cleaned up to go watch Walking Dead at a friend's.

However, instead of jamming out to Pandora like usual, this time I watched (listened in the background) to a 6 part lecture series by Dr. Neil deGrausse Tyson. Good stuff.

I got one of the progressive presses up and working. So far, its made 10 rounds. So far, there have been no problems.

Lets see how it stands up to a little bit longer term use....
Just doing what I can to stay on this side of the dirt.

i learned a few weeks ago that there is a hipster subgenre called "steampunk". I think it took off after firefly and some of the ghey will smith movies. WTF.

Steam punk has been around for a while, but I don't remember if it came after Wild Wild West, or is what inspired that movie.

The continuation (kind of) of the Mistborn trilogy is kind of steam punk.
