You guys that have to deal with the flying thing all the time....yeah, I can see the suck happening there.
Especially when you get stuck in one of detroits outlying airports with a 5.5 hr layover. With 3 hrs left after the pretzel / hotdog cart shuts down. Nothing like a $2.00 4 pack of Oreo's chased down by a $2.50 short pack of red twizzlers. YippeeOriginally Posted by Otterbatcat

Frankfurt is great for food carts. REAL dogs and beer pretzels at just about every turn. The 11 hours to get over there sucks though.
Sitting there burning three or four days leave - getting bumped off standby MAC flights - trying to get stateside was the suck.

Yeah, the equivalent of the "7-11" dinner. The "cheeseburger hot dog" that's been rolling in the spinning meat machine since the Fourth of July....and bought it anyway since the nacho cheese dispenser was empty.
.........and even the dude behind the counter says something like, "You sure you wanna do that?" when ya order the cheeseburger dog.

This will be my first winter in my field position. At least if it is snowing, snow is on the ground, or there is moisture, I can't really get on a roof. I'm interested to see how this winter is going to play out.
