    Yes, but the fuel makes one hell of a sticky mess of the gum...that stuff just don't wash off.

    Mine is going in the oven - Unfortunately, I don't have a smoker. Now a question, sear in the cast iron before baking, or crank up the oven to 500 and brown after baking? I usually sear first to lock in juice. However, I've seen some mighty good looking roasts baked normally at 350 or so, then finished under high oven heat to get some crispness on the face.

    Former is better. I like to fire up the grill, brown roast then slow cook all day in crock pot what ever style/flavor desired.

    A few years back at one of our annual events, they had a mandatory session called, "Work/Life Balance."

    There, they tried to explain the reason they don't let anyone roll over all that PTO or pay us for it. On the flip side is the employee/owner (we are 100% ESOP) that is in high demand and has difficulty taking all the PTO they might be entitled to.
