Like they told Patton in the Olympics pistol quals "It didn't go through the same hole, you missed the entire target".The circle was around the first 5 shots which measure .59" and they are all touching. I got excited and sloppy with the second set of shots and it opened the group up a little. One shot in the second group went through the main hole.
Needless to say, this gun is a much better shooter than I am.

Black coffee in Bed. Being the only one who DIDN'T drink last night, i'm awake. They (family) started on what ever one liked, for most of the day. Followed up with takillya shots in memorium, then who knows. Breakfast should be interesting, I'm having the nephews kids assist in prep. Hash browns with sausage, peppers, bacon. Big pan of eggs scrambled and toast or muffins.

So if I end up breaking my AR in at an indoor range, where should my poi be on a 25-yard target if I want to site for 100 yards?

Depends on how high your sights are above the bore, but about 1.5 inches below center should be pretty darn close.

Go here and print out the zero target. It is the Military 25/300 meter zero.

At a 25 meter zero you will be approximately 6+ inches high at 100 meters.
If you can push it out to a 50 meter zero (50/200) you will be approximately 2 inches high at 100 meters.
From there, you can adjust your sights and or scope to the + or - MOA to get you to the general 100 meter zero.
