I turn 50 in 9 days (or is it 8 days now?).. Feeling the years advance on me isn't fun. Not all of us are built like the Great-Kazoo who seems to get better with age.

I missed getting dinner and, frankly I'm not even hungry (and could certainly afford to miss a meal or two).

The only thing that ages gracefully is , Wine. 50, you're a pup. My old man turned 87 or was it 88 today. Unfortunately you can tell when he talks, that final day may not be far away.

In another month I think folks will show a bit more activity later in the day. Summer time always seems to show a posting slow down around here.

Planted the garden last week? I'm sure you realize how odd that sounds as planting now back here would be a huge waste since nothing would produce before the fall freezes. I think it'd be both odd and cool to plant this late and be harvesting into mid-late fall.

Yeah, we'll see how it ends up. Noticed a bunch of sprouts already. I'll post a picture in a week or two in the gardening thread.
