    Mrs. HB ran a local turkey trot this morning and was the first female finisher out of about 240 runners. Her prize? A frozen turkey! Now we can scratch that off the shopping list for this week...

    Got out of the shower this morning to the sound of sirens. Kind of eeerie, we rarely hear sirens out here.

    Ran around the house looking out windows to see who was responding and which direction they were headed. Rescue and ambulance only, no fire trucks or sheriff. No smoke to be seen in the area.
