Watching a movie with Sean Penn. I know he's a liberal... First he had a glock 17 full auto that shot about a thousand rounds out if a 32 round mag. Then he goes all operator with a railed bull pup with no sights installed. Yawn.

Cooked an egg on the barrel stove tonight while it was 14 degrees outside, just for the hell of it.

Looks good. But I think you broke the yolk. I prefer mine over medium.

I did, I also broke one this morning. Think those eggs are getting old. Better finish up this chicken coop business so we can try fresh eggs.

You kinda masticated that egg. Skillet seasoned?

I did, in fact, chew that egg. That skillet is like 80 years old. It is seasoned, but I didn't exactly prep it like I normally would since it was so cold out.

It's still cool that you're out there messin' with it, Irving.
I know yesterday was shitty weather wise, but it WAS nice to not be at work for the said shittiness. I got a lot done yesterday, took the underbelly of the staircase and turned it into a "pantry" type set up. Built little shelves between studs (2x6's so there's some good usable space there) and built a larger shelf about 2/3'ds down the landing that will store quite a bit of stuff on it. Just generally improved and organized under there, it's pretty cool, I think.
That larger shelf presented me with some challenges getting it in there decent like.....nothing is square under there, and cutting the relief for the center stair stringer took a bit of time to get right since the stringer is kinda "rolled/bowed" a little bit.

Today....with little hope......I tried to fire up a Coleman 1850w generator that I bought new from my neighbor about 20 years ago......the last time it ran was when I loaned it to a coworker about 10 years ago.
The fukin thing started and ran. I couldn't believe it.
