I got my special roof shoes today. Then wore them on a roof I otherwise would never have gotten on. It was terrifying. 10/12 wood shake in shitty condition. Doesn't matter what kind of shoe you have on if the 30 year old shakes are so cupped that when you step on one it snaps off and turns into an ice skate.

Happy day for me as I got my ride back from Advanced 4x4 today, and the price tag didn't kill me. Had them replace the harmonic balancer that was on its last legs

Sure it sucks. BUT.................. You come home from work, look at your wife and kids. In your heart knowing you would do what ever it took to keep them safe. That mi amigo is what really counts.

I get in that frame of mind anytime i look at the shit happening around the world and in America. My spouse believes the same way i do , as our daughter and her boyfriend also believe.
Knowing that, gives us hope, considering you and others here believe the same way.

How one goes about ensuring we keep those freedoms, on that i believe not everyone is of the same mind set. Which is good, as it gives us a few options how to keep those freedoms in place.

North Korea sets off a hydrogen bomb and I hear about it from my wife before it gets posted on here? This board is getting slow. Speaking of slow, the site is still slow for everyone else right?

Good post. I just worry about how to ensure safety for my kids and their kids. HB Jr is almost 3 years old now, He's starting to ask complicated questions. I wish I had better answers for him.

Of course its slow for you. You can't do anything quickly when you got those pink things on your legs.

Its slow for me too. I'm kinda in a nostalgia mode. I'm fondly remembering my days with a dial up connection.
