They probably would chip in for bags of concrete or something, but that would require me going over there to talk to them. I'd rather just do whatever I want, knowing that they won't say a thing about it.

Makes sense. Your gesture turns out to a $175 permit not only didn't apply for. But another $100 for failure to submit drawing of said "upgrades" to planning commission prior to work.

Our friends called the town, wanting to know what's needed before erecting a carport. One of those 1.5" poles and corrugated steel panel deals. Not only did he find out a $125 "FEE" was required. He just put himself on the towns code enforcement radar.

Had he put it up where he planned. No one would have known . If they did, ummm no . That's been there since the tornado. Replaced a few damaged panels, nothing more.

Probably the wrong peeps to ask this, but talk me out of getting another AR lower. Down selected to one of the following: magnesium lower, spikes lower, lower and upper set in FDE from phoenix. Either a light build, a generic cheap build, or an FDE build.
Hi, my name is Erni and I am a gear ho.

I think $1500 might be the upper limit... The market is pretty dang saturated and I personally know more than a dozen people that have been stocking up on cheap PSA ARs in anticipation of rising demand. I'm not sure if I'd rather be right or rather be wrong on this one...

Either way, having lots of guns doesn't have much downside.

Except for the bank account and the dirty looks from the wife.

    Ugh... Some of you guys...

RESPONSIBLY purchasing many guns WITHIN YOUR FINANCIAL MEANS doesn't have much downside.
