This disposable world we are living in feels strange to me. Flourescents in the garage acted up, burning bulbs, so I need new transformers. New transformers $15, new bulb 2 pack $10. So $25 to get it back to par. New LED shop light at costco about $28 bucks. The bulbs will last my lifetime and are instant on and bright even in sub zero. Yeah, going to pick up 2 more LED light and call it good.

Yep. It's hard to keep up with the fancy new stuff. LED lights are awesome.

Been replacing my incandescent bulbs & CFL's in my house lately with LED's. Even replacing the CFL's on the outside of my garage with 100W equiv's. Expected to last ~20 yrs, use less than 1/4 the electricity of incandescent, no toxins and don't need to warm up like CFL's. Just a smarter way to go.

Yet X years ago CFL's WERE THE MUST HAVE TO SAVE THE PLANET FROM SUDDEN DEATH bulb. WHAT HAPPEN,MAN?

Does this mean since CFL's were not really the right answer, could there be doubts about climate change.

Hey hoes. Been shopping craigslist for potential fifth wheel campers and bumper pull travel trailers. Headaches.

Never bought into the whole CFL ideology, just more .gov shit being shoved down our throats. When I needed to replace some bulbs a couple of years ago I couldn't find any incandescents (didn't stock up before the ban went into play).
