Yeah, Bakersfield and King City are both about 2 hours away. Most of the people around here are alright, but I can't wait to get back to the homeland. I feel like I'm constantly in a reality TV show with the way people look, drive, talk, and act around here.

I resolved my tax issues some years back, by working less. Yes it sucked adjusting to less income. It did however save us an easy $8 - 10k annually.
Once our daughter moved out, not having that deduction really hit. Thinking of retirement now. Why wait 3 more years ?
