    Today is not a good day to talk taxes.

    I finally got my wife's W-2 today. Long ugly story. Bad enough my estimate and partial tax paid e-filed with my extension in April - based on last year - was way off, but my e-file was rejected so now it appears someone has defrauded the IRS on my behalf and I get to straighten the fookin mess out now.

    Interesting fact: 23 years ago today was the wrap up of the Battle of Mogadishu, code name Gothic Serpent which resulted in 18 US KIA and 73 wounded. As well as two Medal of Honor recipients, Gary Gordon and Randy Shughart.
