I went out and bought a bunch of candy to hand out to kids this year. I don't want to, but I decided that I really liked trick-or-treating as a kid and wanted to pass it on to the next generation. Well, I've only had to go to my door six times tonight and now I'm starting to get a stomach ache from eating the candy myself.

I was supposed to work nights all week 2300-0500 and expected to be napping around trick or treat time, but got cancelled just for tonight late in the day. The wife is working a few odd late shifts due to a software cutover at the Hospital, so for the first time EVER, we did not have anything to hand out. Lots of dark porches in the neighborhood this year. Had to laugh a little when I turned the light back on around 10PM and all the usual porch lights were also back on.

I could count the number of times that anyone went by based upon the new neighbor's dog barking. Going to have to go have a talk with the lad one of these days I guess. It's getting old real quick. They leave him in the upstairs room with the window open so EVERY time anyone walks by on either side of the street, it starts barking. Across the street and one house over so it's very loud in our bedroom. Given the wife's trying to sleep during the day, and they appear to leave him to bark all day, it's gotta stop.
    My Feedback
Credit TFOGGER : Liberals only want things to be "fair and just" if it benefits them.
Credit Zundfolge: The left only supports two "rights"; Buggery and Infanticide.
Credit roberth: List of things Government does best; 1. Steal your money 2. Steal your time 3. Waste the money they stole from you. 4. Waste your time making you ask permission for things you have a natural right to own. "Anyone that thinks the communists won't turn off your power for being on COAR15 is a fucking moron."
