I did purchase a mini four rotor "drone" that has a super solid flight time of an overwhelming 5 minutes or so. I fly it around the house from time to time.

OBC. Yeah the quads and helis are fun too. I am just amazed at how cheap some of these items are now. The glider I have is less than 2oz with the battery and has a gyro in it to make it more stable. Ultimate goal here is to have fun and learn about uav technology, maybe build a globalhawk type mini drone with camers and stuff for giggles, that can be tasked to fly to point x and do something. #geekhobbies
