Why are my "off" Fridays always filled with chores?

Because you aren't spending enough time getting that stuff done on work days?

I'm off every other Friday and I usually spend half the day doing yard work and the other half of the day either doing maintenance or repairs on the house or vehicles or running to the bank or whatever. So, while I technically have two day or three day weekends it feels more like I have a two day weekend and a one day weekend.

    I resemble that remark.

We get out early on Fridays....12:30...I usually use that time for the weird errands that I don't want to tackle during rush hour during the rest of the week.

We wont have to mow too many more times though, the white flakey stuff be a coming down real short like.

Went to Pete's again tonight, just a little earlier than usual. I'm kinda in with some staff there, and one of them was erasing the menu board for specials.

Then....I asked for some dry erase markers.

I don't know how long it will stay up tonight, but it was still up as I drove out on Colfax heading home. The header at the top already said "Welcome to Pete's Kitchen"....my dinner special followed.

"Alabama swamp opossum w/ toad fritters & squirrel cracklin's"

"You kill it, we cook it"

Then I drew a pic of some opossum/ beaver Rat thing with X's in the eyes....and offered the meat only dish for $3.95.....or $4.95 with fries. Did some nice color highlites too.

Several folks in booths nearby got a chuckle out of the whole thing, it was fun.

Mayweather will collect a stupendous $100 million for the fight, with McGregor not far behind at $75 million. Not including other cash from ppv, endorsments etc.
