Not that you asked, but I've come to the conclusion that I'll never pay full retail for a flagship phone again if they are only going to last 2 years or less. I recently replaced my Galaxy 6 with an LG V20. I think those two phones came out around the same time, but if a brand new V20 lasts me another two years for only $270, as opposed to the new V30 lasting only two years for $950, I'll be happy. Just tonight my G6 will no longer power on. Looks like I got a new phone just in time.

    I paid $249 to upgrade.

Pay the $7.50/month coverage but it's a 3rd party plan. I think if i "lose" my phone in the lake, there's no deductible. Need to go check.

I'm actually thinking Verizon might warranty it since there's no physical damage... ?

Gonna call the business support line in the morning.

Fookin tech was so BS'ing me. This thing is bricked.

    Does Verizon still subsidize phones?

while I didn't have any internal scaring under my stitches like Eric thought I might, I DID catch the end of a pocket clip under the freshly closed flap, the day after I had the stitches removed. That hurt.

I don't think so. Each time I have checked on upgrade last couple years it was ~ $25/month for 2yrs.

Only reason I am not still using S4 is insurance company said no longer available and gave me an S6 last time I broke one.

If only couple months old they should. I have them warranty similar failure and it was more than year later.

I'm still wrapping my head around paying close to $1k for a phone.

    I will go without before I pay 1/2 that. It's a phone.
