I got the weed/feed down on about half the lawn yesterday. Wish I had got the rest done today.

The rain has helped folks relax a little out here. Been kinda tense with fire danger last couple weeks.

Side note: ... we all see regular signs of societal decline daily it seems. I would add, ironically, that when you see some consistency in a drastic decline of gravy in your FAVORITE frozen box of shit........then the END of the world most certainly will be coming soon.

Damn straight. She complained until I put in turf. Told her if she wanted manicured she would have to mow/trim. I will feed it weed and anything else to make it grow fast and fat. Take up all her time/effort to manicure it.

I've got some laminate that looks like an aged (gray) oak that I've used in two other rooms so far. I bought enough to do all the rooms I want, and it's been sitting in my living room for well over a year now. It'll be about damn time!

I had the same thing in my family room, it takes time if you do it yourself.

Siemian was horrible, Keenum is an upgrade IF he performs reasonably close to how he did in Minnesota last year.

If he reverts to his years prior to that, then it was wasted time and money. But on the bright side, if he does horrible, then Vance Joseph will get a swift kick in the pants out the door. He is the team's biggest weakness because he doesn't have a clue what he's doing and his ego gets in the way too much.

Talibs antics were tiresome but his production on the field made up for it, hard to replace a talent like that. He brought swagger to our defense. I hope Roby can step up and play with that same swagger and aggressive style.

I was surprised we hired Joseph over Kyle Shanahan. I think the key to our success this year will be o line and d line play. If it doesnt get better than another year with no playoffs.

and I'm stuck at a truck stop in Wyoming because all the idiot truckers from the warm weather states can't drive in the snow and are causing accidents everywhere.

ETA to re-open is 6-8 hours and I'm going to run out of hours before the road opens.

These cold weather states need to require a winter driving endorsement for CDL drivers.

All the mountain states oughta require a winter driving endorsement AND a mountain driving endorsement on CDL's. That would keep these idiots that can't drive in the snow or mountains out of here.

No. Pretty much driving daily is considered your CE.

However the company I work for gives you monthly safety videos and a test or two to complete or you don't get your safety bonuses each month or quarter.

Most other companies also do this. I don't even watch the videos, it's all common sense and I get 100% on all of the tests every time.

A lot of it is severely outdated which is why the tests are easy to pass without watching the videos.

Questions like

Road surfaces are most slippery when?

a.) Right after it stops raining
b.) During a downpour
c.) When it first starts raining
d.) When it's hot and humid out



You should never use your jake brakes when?

a.) It's snowing
b.) It's raining
c.) when it's sunny and dry
d.) Both A and B


It's laughable.
